titleOfInvention Rail cum road vehicle (rcrv) and economy rail track-cum-corrugated concrete track to engage with corrugated tread rubber wheels on all roadways
abstract A rail cum road vehicle(RCRV) running on rail tracks or on plain roads, includes a gas powered hybrid engine coach linked to and pulling one or several passenger coaches or goods vehicles, all of which in common are fitted with pneumatic rubber wheels, steel wheels, air suspension system with hanger brackets, air brakes and couplers. The air suspension system will lift the axles of the rubber wheels for rail travel, and it will lift the steel wheels to run on plain roads. Its regenerative braking system produces electricity to run the motor of an air compressor unit or the vehicle itself. The engine power is transmitted to the steel wheels and the rubber wheels via crown/differential boxes and sprockets and chains. All of the RCRV are fitted with 'advanced light weight rail tracks brakes' and 'corrugated concrete track to engage with the corrugated tread rubber wheels' for instant braking. The circular chassis bogie at rear end helps the RCRV on tracks and on road comfortably negotiate. The ballast-less economy rail track with lesser numbers of light weight sleepers is bolted to the ground for comfortable journey with less noise.
