Provided are: a near-infrared cut filter which effectively uses near-infrared absorbing glass and a near-infrared absorbing dye and has excellent near-infrared shielding characteristics; and a highly sensitive solid-state imaging device which is provided with this near-infrared cut filter.nA near-infrared cut filter which is characterized by comprising: a near-infrared absorbing glass base that is formed of CuO-containing fluorophosphate glass or CuO-containing phosphate glass; and a near-infrared absorbing layer that is arranged on at least one main surface of the near-infrared absorbing glass base and contains a near-infrared absorbing dye (A) and a transparent resin (B). This near-infrared cut filter is also characterized in that the average transmittance in the wavelength range of 400-550 nm is 80% or more and the average transmittance in the wavelength range of 650-720 nm is 15% or less. |
