titleOfInvention Intraocular lens, in particular capsular sac intraocular lens
abstract The invention relates to an intraocular lens, in particular a capsular sac intraocular lens, comprising at least one anterior optic and at least one posterior optic, in addition to a haptic that connects both optics. A hollow chamber is formed by the optics and the haptics, said hollow chamber having openings arranged around the circumference. The problem to be solved by the invention is that of providing an intraocular lens which permits a symmetrical deformation of one or more optics of the intraocular lens and a relative displacement of these optics to one another along the optical axis of said lens, thus achieving a sufficient modification in focal power. The problem is solved by an intraocular lens, in which according to the invention the region of the hollow chamber between the optics contains a filling which is at least partially encompassed by a membrane. Said membrane a) is designed as a sac and completely encompasses the filling, b) is annular and connected to the anterior and posterior optic, or c) seals the openings. The invention also relates to an intraocular lens comprising at least one anterior optic and at least one posterior optic, in addition to a haptic that connects both optics. According to the invention, the haptic forms an overhang at the transition into the anterior optic, the anterior surface of the haptic projecting forwards beyond the edge of the anterior optic, or the haptic forms an overhang at the transition into the posterior optic, the posterior surface of the haptic projecting backwards beyond the edge of the posterior optic, the anterior or posterior optic being preferably designed as a pinhole diaphragm.
