abstract Energy extraction system for illuminating cables which comprises one or more power cables, which may be three-phase or single-phase, and an energy extraction device, based on the arrangement of the energy extraction device on at least one of the power cables which comprises the cable. The device comprises: a core which performs the function of concentrating the perimeter magnetic field in the entire volume thereof and is an open and continuous core which is helically arranged on the power cable; a series of coils incorporated on the core at given spacings, a voltage being induced in the terminals of said coils; loads which are associated with and connected to each coil, preferably LEDs; and storage batteries for storing energy. The invention also concerns the method for manufacturing the system, the method for repairing the system and the method for manufacturing the energy extraction device.
