titleOfInvention | Method for producing bis(halosulfonyl)amine |
abstract | The present invention provides a method for producing a bis(halosulfonyl)amine, which enables the reaction rate among sulfamic acid, a halogenating agent and a halosulfonic acid to be maintained almost constant during the period from the initial stage of the reaction through the final stage of the reaction to thereby inhibit the rapid generation of a gas, also enables the reduction of the amount of the halogenating agent to be used, and is industrially advantageous. The method for producing a bis(halosulfonyl)amine according to the present invention comprises heating a mixture containing sulfamic acid and a halosulfonic acid to a temperature higher than room temperature, then adding a halogenating agent to the heated mixture, and then adjusting the temperature of the resultant mixture to a predetermined temperature to cause the reaction of the components, whereby a bis(halosulfonyl)amine such as N-(fluorosulfonyl)-N-(chlorosulfonyl)amine and bis(chlorosulfonyl)amine is produced. |
