titleOfInvention | Method for obtaining ultrastable nanoemulsions |
abstract | Method in which a first amount of a first fluid substance is dispersed in a second amount of a second fluid substance which is not miscible with the first, in the presence of at least one ionic emulsifier having preferably chemical -physical affinity with the first fluid substance, so as to form a primary emulsion of drops of nanometric dimensions of the first fluid substance in a homogeneous phase defined by the second fluid substance and on the drops of which at least part of the ionic emulsifier is adsorbed; and in which the primary emulsion is mixed with a solution in the second fluid substance of a polyelectrolyte having polarity opposite to that of the ionic emulsifier to form a secondary emulsion; this is left to stand and is then processed so as to re- disperse the first fluid substance in the second fluid substance under the influence of a high shear stress. |
