titleOfInvention Device for controlled elevation of intraocular pressure
abstract Device for controlled elevation of intraocular pressure in vivo has a ring-shaped holder (1) immovably fixing on upper part of a patient's head; a horizontal guide (2) on the frontal part of said holder (1); a carriage (3) mounted on said guide (2); a vertical guide (4) mounted on said carriage (3); an fit ring (5) meant for pressing eyeball's capsule; a revocable lever-carrier (6) of said fit ring (5); and rigidly fixed on said guide (4) a controlled reversible drive (7) of stepless turn of said lever-carrier (6). Said carriage (3) and said guide (4) are capable to adaptable reciprocal motion and to arrest in a selected position. This device provides precise and easy stepless regulation of force applicable to any eyeball's capsule subject to its individual biomechanical and/or optical properties immediately during study. Accordingly, probability of random errors of estimations has practically excluded.
