abstract A production method for an adhesive patch comprising a supporting body layer and an adhesive layer, said production method including: a mixture preparation step in which asenapine or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof and a sodium acetate having a cumulative volume of 50% in the particle size distribution and a particle diameter (D 50 ) of 40-1,000 µm are mixed such that the particle diameter (D 50 ) of the sodium acetate and sodium diacetate generated from the sodium acetate is no more than 10 µm, and a mixture containing the sodium diacetate and the asenapine or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof is obtained; and an adhesive layer forming step in which an adhesive layer composition obtained by mixing the mixture and a pressure-sensitive adhesive base is used and the adhesive layer is formed, said adhesive layer containing the sodium diacetate, asenapine or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof, and the pressure-sensitive adhesive base.
