abstract The present invention relates to a composite membrane comprising: a porous support structure (2), and a separating layer (1), said separating layer consisting of a porous host layer of which the pores are filled with at least one polymer (4), consisting of oligomers, and covalently grafted to the interior of said pores, on the surface thereof, the ratio between the "size of the pores of said host layer" and the "length of said oligomers, calculated on the assumption that the chain is unfolded" being in a range of approximately 0.2 to approximately 3, particularly approximately 0.3 to approximately 1, particularly approximately 0.2 to approximately 0.9 and particularly approximately 0.5 to approximately 1.
