abstract In an ultrasonic probe, by having used a mixture of a resin and an elastomer for at least one layer of a plurality of layers configuring an acoustic matching layer provided on one side of a piezoelectric element, broadband and smooth-form frequency characteristics and short pulse length characteristics are achieved. As a result, it is possible to obtain a high-resolution ultrasound image.
