titleOfInvention Positioning system of mobile robot and positioning method thereof
abstract A positioning system of a mobile robot comprises at least one light reflecting part (M) with known coordinate values (x1, y1), a turntable (T) and an electronic compass (P) arranged on the robot (R), a laser range finder (Y) and an angle coder (B) arranged on the turntable, and a central processing unit. The laser range finder is used for obtaining a first distance (l) between the robot and the light reflecting part, and has an emission portion (Y1) for emitting an emission laser ray and a receiving portion (Y2) for receiving a reflection laser ray (ML). The electronic compass measures a first angle (α) between an orientation line of the head of the robot and a geomagnetic line, and the angle coder measures a second angle (β) between the orientation line of the head and the reflection laser ray. The central processing unit obtains current coordinate values of the robot through operation processing. The positioning system is high in positioning accuracy, simple in structure, and low in cost.
