abstract It is provided an a method, comprising classifying a first terminal having at least a downlink communication with an apparatus performing the method into one of a cancellation category and a non-cancellation category, wherein the cancellation category indicates that the first terminal is capable of reference signal interference cancellation; assessing whether the first terminal is affected by interference caused by an aggressor device by more than a first interference level; if it is assessed that the first terminal is affected by more than the first interference level and the terminal is classified into the non-cancellation category, scheduling a first blank slot of a clear carrier for the downlink communication, and if it is assessed that the first terminal is affected by more than the first interference level and the first terminal is classified into the cancellation category, scheduling a second blank slot of a normal carrier for the downlink communication, wherein the scheduling is based on a carrier information received from the aggressor device according to which the clear carrier is comprised by one or more extension carriers of the aggressor device and based on a slot information received from the aggressor device according to which each of the first and second blank slots is of one of an almost blank slot type and a blank slot with reduced power type.
