titleOfInvention | Detection device and detection method |
abstract | [Problem] To provide a detection device and detection method which can improve the accuracy in measuring the concentration of an analyte over time while also reducing the burden on a living body caused by measurement. [Solution] This detection device (10) detects the concentration of an analyte in a living body by using a fluorescent substance that reacts with the analyte and, in receiving an excitation light, emits a fluorescence corresponding to the concentration of the analyte; the detection device (10) comprising: a light-emitting element (11) for irradiating the excitation light onto the fluorescent substance indwelled in the living body; a light-receiving element (12) for receiving the fluorescence emitted by the fluorescent substance that has been irradiated with the excitation light; a receptacle (13) for receiving a convexity formed on the surface of the living body by the indwelling in the living body of a fluorescence carrier bearing the fluorescent substance; and a positioning section (14) for positioning the light-emitting element (11) and the light-receiving element (12) in relation to the convexity received by the receptacle (13). |
