abstract Provided are a nano particle, a method, a liquid crystal display panel and a display device for inducing a multidimensional electric field mode liquid crystal to arrange. The nano particle is a silica nano particle modifed by using an organic silicon compound in formula (1), where Rs may be the same or different and respectively be -H or -OC2H5, and M comprises rigid groups, such as a benzene ring, biphenyl, or cyclohexyl. The present invention adopts the organic silicon compound having a molecular structure similar to a nematic liquid crystal in a multidimensional electric field mode to modify the silica nano particle, making the modified silica nano particle disperse uniformly in the liquid crystal, and the rigid groups comprised in the organic silicon compound be capable of effectively inducing the liquid crystal to arrange, which thereby improves a display effect of a liquid crystal display panel in the multidimensional electric field mode, may lowers a driving voltage of the liquid crystal display panel, and lower energy consumption.
