An apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a bubble implosion reactor cavitation device (10, 10', 10"). The bubble implosion reactor cavitation device includes a tube-shaped cylindrical body (16, 16', 16") including an upstream, a distal end surface (16a, 16a', 16a") and a downstream, proximal end surface (16b, 16b', 16b"). The tube-shaped cylindrical body (16, 16', 16") defines an axial passage (26, 26', 26") that extends through the tube-shaped cylindrical body (16, 16', 16") between the upstream, distal end surface (16a, 16a', 16a") and the downstream, proximal end surface (16b, 16b', 16b"). The apparatus also includes a bubble generator subassembly (18, 18', 18") connected to the tube-shaped cylindrical body (16, 16', 16"). The bubble generator subassembly (18, 18', 18") is at least partially disposed within the axial passage (26, 26', 26") defined by the tube-shaped cylindrical body (16, 16', 16"). The apparatus also includes a retaining member (24, 24', 24") connected to the tube-shaped cylindrical body (16, 16', 16") for retaining the bubble generator subassembly (18, 18', 18") within the axial passage (26, 26', 26") defined by the tube-shaped cylindrical body (16, 16', 16"). |
