titleOfInvention | Method for shaping keratinous fibers |
abstract | The invention relates to dialkylsulfone of the general formula (I), where a) X stands for a1) O-R 1 , O-C(O)-R 1 , O-C(O)-OR 1 , NH-C(O)-R 1 or NH-C(O)-OR 1 and R 1 stands for a C 1 -C 6 -alkyl group, a C 2 -C 6 -alkenyl group, a C 1 -C 6 -hydroxyalkyl group or a C 1 -C 6 -alkoxy-(C 1 -C 6 -)alkyl group; or a2) NR 2 R 3 or O-C(O)-NR 2 R 3 and R 2 and R 3 , independently of each other, stand for hydrogen, a C 1 -C 6 -alkyl group, a C 2 -C 6 -alkenyl group or a C 1 -C 6 -hydroxyalkyl group, provided that only one of the groups R 2 and R 3 stands for hydrogen; or a3) OSO 3 H or OS(O) 2 R 4 and R 4 stand for an alkyl group, preferably a C 1 -C 6 -alkyl group or a substituted aryl group as applicable; or a4) OP(O)(OH) 2 , OP(O)(OH)(OR 5 ), OP(O)(OR 5 ) 2 or OP(O)(OH)R 5 and R 5 stand for an alkyl group, preferably a C 1 -C 6 -alkyl group; and b) n stands for a number from 1 to 5, or salts thereof suitable for shaping keratinous fibers, in particular human hairs. A particularly good and long-lasting hold can be obtained by a heat-assisted shaping method. |
