titleOfInvention | Method for detecting target nucleic acid using molecular beacon-type probe |
abstract | The present invention provides a detection system using a versatile nucleic acid probe, that is to be used in an assay system (for example, nucleic acid amplification) using a recombinase. More specifically, provided is a method for detecting a target nucleic acid, said method comprising assaying the target nucleic acid by using a probe having the characteristics (a) to (c), a cleaving enzyme and a recombinase: (a) being a single-stranded nucleic acid molecule that contains a pair of regions capable of complementarily binding to each other and a region capable of complementarily binding to the target nucleic acid; (b) containing a site cleavable with the cleaving enzyme; and (c) having a terminal label. |
