titleOfInvention Pharmaceutical composition containing an unsaturated fatty acid enriched with oxygen and an organic solvent
abstract The invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition containing an unsaturated fatty acid or a derivative thereof, wherein the unsaturated fatty acid is enriched with oxygen, and to an organic solvent. The oxygen enrichment is performed by means of treatment with ozone. The solvent is dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO). The unsaturated fatty acid is preferably oleic acid. The invention further relates to products containing such a pharmaceutical composition and the use of the pharmaceutical composition, for example as a medical preparation. The pharmaceutical composition has antimicrobial (for example, antibacterial) properties.
