abstract [Problem] To collect tungsten from a tungsten-containing material to be treated by means of simple processing steps using microorganisms, and with a reduced environmental load and excellent efficiency. [Solution] A method for collecting tungsten compounds, the method comprising: a step in which the metal components of a tungsten-containing material to be treated are eluted in an alkali solution, and a tungsten compound solution in which tungsten compound ions are dissolved is obtained; an adsorption step in which microorganisms are introduced into the tungsten compound solution, the tungsten compound solution is adjusted so as to be acidic, and tungsten compound ions are adhered to the microorganisms; and a collecting and cleaning step in which the microorganisms having tungsten compound ions adsorbed thereto are collected and cleaned.
