titleOfInvention | Impact-modified polycarbonate compositions for the simplified production of low-temperature resistant components with high-gloss and matt component sections |
abstract | The present invention relates to impact-modified polycarbonate moulding compounds, the use thereof to produce shaped bodies and moulded parts, and shaped bodies and moulded parts produced therefrom, containing mixtures made of graft polymers of defined graft particle size distribution produced by an emulsion-polymerisation process and by a mass-, solution- or suspension-polymerisation process. Said compounds are suitable for producing non-painted components with high-gloss surfaces in a broad processing window (i.e. even at high processing temperatures) and can precisely reproduce finely grained or surface-etched tool surfaces, whereby components having both high-gloss and extremely matt component sections can be produced in a tool with different surface textures in a single injection moulding step without further surface post-treatment. The moulding compounds have high heat resistance and low temperature ductility as well as excellent stress-crack resistance under media influence, which is especially important in respect of non-painted components. |
