titleOfInvention Wrought zinc alloy and preparation method and use thereof
abstract Disclosed is a wrought zinc alloy and a preparation method and the use thereof. The wrought zinc alloy has the composition of: 2.0-9.5% of Cu, 0.01-0.5% of Mn, 0-0.1% of Co, the balance being zinc and inevitable impurity elements; and the sum of inevitable impurity elements is less than 0.01%. The microstructure of the zinc alloy essentially consists of primary phases of the zinc matrix and intermetallic compounds dispersed between the primary phases; the primary phases have an HCP structure, and the intermetallic compounds are fine Zn 4 Cu and Zn 9 Mn; the Zn 4 Cu phase has a volume content of 5%-55%, the Zn 9 Mn phase has a volume content of 0.1%-5%, and the balance is the primary phases; the primary phases have an average grain size of 15-35 microns, and the intermetallic compound tissues have an average grain size of 5-15 microns. The zinc alloy can be made into air-conditioner nuts by processing techniques such as fused-casting, extruding, stretching etc. for the replacement of traditional brass, so as to solve the problem of lacking brass resources.
