The present invention addresses the problem of providing electrophotographic toner that has excellent storability, and excellent offset resistance and low-temperature fixing properties during printing, and has few substances that are the cause of dust, and contamination and odors over time inside copying machines and printers. The present invention pertains to electrophotographic toner characterized by containing an ethylene copolymer that contains 80 to 99.5 mol% of structural units derived from ethylene (a), and 0.5 to 20 mol% of structural units derived from a cyclic olefin with at least eight carbons (b) [where (a) + (b) = 100 mol%], and satisfies requirements (i) the intrinsic viscosity [η] ranges from 0.01 to 0.50 dl/g, and (ii) the crystallinity ranges from 50 to 90%. |
