abstract |
Provided are: a thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer film; and a method for producing the thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer film. This production method comprises: a preparation step of preparing a thermoplastic liquid crystal polymer film that has a dielectric constant of 3.25 or less both in the machine direction and in the transverse direction; and a stretching step of heating and stretching the film within the temperature range from the temperature that is lower than the heat distortion temperature (Td) of the film by 60°C (Td - 60°C) to the temperature that is lower than the Td by 5°C (Td - 5°C). The heating temperature in the stretching step may be within the temperature range from the temperature that is lower than the heat distortion temperature (Td) of the film to be stretched by 40°C (Td - 40°C) to the temperature that is lower than the Td by 10°C (Td - 10°C). |
