titleOfInvention | Method for preparing bioethanol from algae of family hydrodictyaceae |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for preparing bioethanol from algae biomass of the family Hydrodictyaceae and a saccharified solution thereof, and more specifically, provides a method for preparing bioethanol from algae of the family Hydrodictyaceae , comprising the steps of: (a) saccharifying algae of the family Hydrodictyaceae to obtain a saccharified solution containing monosacharides; and (b) culturing microorganisms by using the saccharified solution as a carbon source so as to prepare bioethanol. According to the present invention, since the production of chemical materials from algae of the family Hydrodictyaceae does not use edible resources such as corn and wheat, but algae, which is an inedible resource, there is no steep rise in food prices and no ethical problems when the industrial demand of biomass increases. In addition, a stable supply of resources is possible and a chemical material can be produced at a low cost due to easy saccharification. Bioethanol prepared by the preparation method of the present invention could be provided as a transport fuel or a material for producing various chemical products so as to contribute to the production of a petroleum alternative chemical material. |
