abstract |
The present invention provides an ameliorating agent for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which has both a bronchodilator activity and an anti-inflammatory activity and is safe and effective. The ameliorating agent for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease comprises mepenzolate bromide as an active ingredient, and is more preferably can be administered through the respiratory tract or by inhalation. Also provided is an ameliorating agent for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), which can be administered orally or intrarectally, has both a bronchodilator activity and an anti-inflammatory activity of mepenzolate bromide, and is safe and effective. |
