Method for collecting metal-containing fullerene |
abstract |
A method for collecting a metal-containing fullerene involves: a complexing step in which a Lewis acid comprising titanium halide or tin halide is added to a reaction solution formed by dissolving rough fullerenes in a solvent to generate a complex of a metal-containing fullerene and the Lewis acid; a filtering step in which the complex is filtered and separated from the reaction solution; and a washing step in which the Lewis acid is removed from the complex to acquire the metal-containing fullerene. The metal-containing fullerene thus obtained may be dissolved in the solvent. The collection rate of the metal-containing fullerene increases. |
