abstract The present invention relates to a device and to a method for evaluating the functional capacity of individuals, which can be used in various environments of a biomedical, biosanitary or employment type. More specifically, the invention proposed by the applicant relates to a device and to a method that are based on objective techniques for measuring movements and effort on the part of the individuals evaluated such that it is possible, precisely and reproducibly, to analyze the physical capacity of the individuals to perform certain tasks in everyday life or in the course of employment. Preferably, the invention relates to the functional evaluation of the upper limbs of the human body and also to the spine.
