abstract | The invention relates to shaped soap products, e.g. bar soaps, with improved smoothness and increased lime soap dispersancy, which are characterized by a reduced content of fatty acid soaps and nevertheless have an improved smoothness and an increased lime soap dispersancy, and also improved mushiness properties and adequate hardness coupled with a simultaneous low abrasion and also less cracking. Surprisingly, it has now been found that bar soaps can be produced with a reduced content of fatty acid soaps which meet the aforementioned requirements. The present application therefore provides bar soaps with a reduced content of fatty acid soaps comprising, in each case based on the total weight of the soap bar, a) fatty acid soaps in a total amount of from 20 to 60% by weight, preferably 30 to 60% by weight, more preferably 30 to 50% by weight, most preferably 35 to 55% by weight and in particular from 30 to 50% by weight, b) talc in a total amount of from 3 to 40% by weight, preferably 5 to 35% by weight, more preferably 10 to 35% by weight, even more preferably 15 to 35% by weight, most preferably 15 to 30% by weight, c) silicates in a total amount of from 0.5 to 30% by weight, preferably 1.0 to 30% by weight, yet more preferably from 1.0 to 20.0% by weight and most preferably from 3.0 to 20.0% by weight, d) synthetic surfactants selected from the anionic, amphoteric, zwitterionic, nonionic and/or cationic surfactants in a total amount of from 0.1 to 20.0% by weight, preferably from 0.1 to 15.0% by weight, more preferably 0.2 to 10.0% by weight, even more preferably from 0.5 to 10.0% by weight, most preferably from 2.0 to 10.0% by weight and in particular less than 8.0% by weight and e) starch in a total amount of from 0.1 to 10.0% by weight, preferably from 0.5 to 10.0% by weight, more preferably 1.0 to 8.0% by weight, particularly preferably 2.0 to 8.0% by weight, very particularly preferably 2.0 to 5.0% by weight and most preferably less than 5.0% by weight. |
