abstract The present invention relates to a lithium-ion battery having a discharge capacity of 30 Ah or more but less than 100 Ah, and comprising in a battery container, an electrolyte and an electrode winding group obtained by winding a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator. When the battery capacity of a lithium-ion battery is increased, the energy stored in the battery increases; therefore, ensuring safety under non-steady conditions is a problem. For example, it may not be possible to ensure safety when securing battery capacity by simply enlarging a 18650-type lithium-ion battery, and a comprehensive study including the constituent materials of the battery such as the positive electrode, the negative electrode, and the separator was needed. The present invention provides a high-capacity battery with high input and output while ensuring safety by configuring a lithium-ion battery with a discharge capacity of 30 Ah or more but less than 100 Ah, so that the positive electrode mixture of the positive electrode, the negative electrode mixture of the negative electrode, and the electrolyte meet predetermined conditions.
