Wound dressing |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a wound dressing that includes a perforated material which has through holes. The wound dressing is capable of coating the perforated material with a low adhesion resin without blocking the through holes, and has an excellent function of preventing a wound from sticking. A wound dressing (1) includes a sheet-shaped perforated material (11) that has through holes (111), and a low adhesion resin (12) that coats at least one surface of the perforated material (11) without blocking the through holes (111). The perforated material (11) is a woven or knitted fabric formed of a multifilament. The through holes (111) have an average opening area of between 0.02mm 2 and 1.2mm 2 , and the average number thereof is between 40/cm 2 and 220/cm 2 . By setting the opening area and the number of through holes (111) of the perforated material (11) within certain ranges, sticking caused by the infiltration of granulation tissue into the through holes (111) can be prevented, and an exudate can have sufficient permeability through the through holes (111). |
