Provided are: a hydrolysis catalyst which is capable of removing COS and HCN at the same time at high decomposition rate; and a use of a titanium oxide-based composition. A catalyst for hydrolysis of carbonyl sulfide and hydrogen cyanide, which is characterized by containing at least an active component that is mainly composed of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of barium, nickel, ruthenium, cobalt and molybdenum, and a titanium oxide-based carrier that supports the active component. |
