abstract |
[Problem] To provide a material for filling in a bone defect, which reduces pain and any sense of discomfort and also promotes short-term bone repair. [Solution] Provided is a material for filling in a bone defect, the material being characterized by filling in a bone defect formed between fracture sites in living bone and imparting to the fracture sites a pressing force in the direction in which the living bone extends from the defect. Also provided is a material for filling in a bone defect as set forth in claim 1, the material being characterized by being laid across the bone defect as a predetermined length and by continuously imparting the pressing force to the fracture sites. |
