titleOfInvention Dilation catheter
abstract Provided is a dilation catheter which, regardless of the variety of introduction paths intended to introduce a dilation body in a living organism to dilate a narrow area and of the individual differences in the anatomical structure of each patient, can easily and accurately guide a dilation body to a narrow area. For this purpose, a flexible balloon catheter (100) has: a first elongated body (110) which may be introduced into a living organism and in which an insert lumen (111) extending in the axial direction is formed; a holding part (150) which is provided in the first elongated body (110) to maintain, in a living organism, the outer shape of the first elongated body (110) in an outer shape where at least one part of the first elongated body (110) is curved in a direction intersecting with the axial direction thereof; a second elongated body (120) which is provided with a balloon (130) and an imaging part (140), and which can move in the insert lumen (111) of the first elongated body (110), the outer shape of which is maintained by the holding part (150).
