abstract This EL display apparatus has an EL display panel (1) that is provided with a display region having pixels disposed in matrix, and a wiring pattern, which is formed in a peripheral portion of the display region, and which supplies voltages to the pixels. A flexible substrate (22) is disposed on the EL display panel (1), said flexible substrate being provided with an electrode to be connected to a source signal line or a gate signal line. The flexible substrate (22) is provided with anode reinforcement wiring (27) and cathode reinforcement wiring (28), which are electrically parallel to the wiring pattern.
