abstract Disclosed are a method and device for selecting a sounding reference signal (SRS) virtual signaling set. The method comprises: a UE acquiring uplink grant control information or downlink grant control information from a currently received subframe, where the uplink grant control information or the downlink grant control information comprises preconfigured indication information; and, the UE selecting, on the basis of a correlation between the indication information and the SRS virtual signaling set, the SRS virtual signaling set corresponding to the indication information from multiple sets of SRS virtual signaling sets configured in advance for the UE by a base station. The present invention allows a base station side and a terminal side to achieve unification, makes improved utilization of virtual signaling to allow a measurement pilot frequency to implement quadrature and interference randomization, and achieves the effects of increased precision in channel measurement and increased capacity of the overall system.
