abstract The present invention relates to a capture probe for typing a chronic myelogenous leukemia fusion genotype, a primer set and to a method for detecting a chronic myelogenous leukemia fusion genotype using the capture probe and the primer set. More particularly, the present invention relates to a capture probe capable of detecting a type of BCR-ABL modified protein by integrally performing a reverse transcription reaction, a polymerase chain reaction, a genetic alteration and a hybridization at a surface of a solid support. The present invention also relates to a method for detecting a type of BCR-ABL modified protein, in which a formation of branched nucleic acid complex between amplified target DNAs is promoted, to thereby significantly improve sensitivity, accuracy, etc. A method for detecting a chronic myelogenous leukemia fusion genotype according to the present invention integrates a reverse transcription reaction, an asymmetric polymerase chain reaction and a hybridization, and therefore, the method of the present invention may significantly improve sensitivity and shorten time taken for detection as compared with conventional methods, and may enable an automation of detection steps.
