The invention provides a novel & cost-efficient process of concentrating rotavirus to obtain gel-adsorbed rotaviral liquid compositions, wherein the viral titer post-adsorption is atleast 10 fold greater than the pre-adsorption viral titer with partial removal of nucleic acid contaminants. Also present invention provides stable vaccine formulations of such live and inactivated rotavirus. |
