| abstract |
The present invention relates to a backing element for an ultrasound probe, which is installed on the rear surface of a piezoelectric device constituting an ultrasound probe and decreases ultrasonic waves emitted from the piezoelectric device via the rear surface. The backing element contains a mixture of a base material and a filler, wherein the base material is a polyurethane resin and the filler is manganese powder. Accordingly, the present invention provides a backing element having appropriate sound absorption performance and excellent dicing workability and an ultrasound probe including the backing element. |
