abstract | Provided is a method for producing a cell having a nucleic acid introduced therein, which is useful for a primary cell into which a nucleic acid cannot be introduced easily by conventional techniques and a cell of which the cell division is late, and which has low cytotoxicity.nA method for introducing a nucleic acid into a cell, comprising the steps of: mixing a temperature-sensitive material with the nucleic acid at a temperature that is lower than the cloud point of the temperature-sensitive material, wherein the temperature-sensitive material is produced by adding a temperature-sensitive polymeric material of which the main polymer component is 2-N,N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate and/or a derivative thereof to 2-amino-2-hydroxymethyl-1,3-propanediol; flow-coating the resultant mixed solution onto a culture container; and supplying a cell suspension into the culture container at a temperature that is higher than the cloud point and then culturing the cell suspension. |
