abstract | The present invention relates to recombinant microorganisms for producing 3-hydroxypropionic acid (3-HP), and to a method for producing 3-HP using the recombinant microorganisms. The Cupriavidus necator-derived succinate semialdehyde dehydrogenase according to the present invention has better oxidizing activity than that of existing known Escherichia coli-derived aldehyde dehydrogenase (AldH), and therefore, microorganisms containing polynucleotides expressing the succinate semialdehyde dehydrogenase may exhibit far superior activity in the production of 3-HP. Thus, the method of the present invention has the effects of culturing the microorganisms and obtaining a large amount of 3-HP from the culture in an economically advantageous manner. |
