abstract | Provided are a rubber composition for a tyre and a pneumatic tyre which uses the rubber composition, the composition enabling excellent workability, and achieving a balanced improvement in rolling resistance, abrasion resistance and wet skid properties. The present invention relates to a rubber composition for a tyre, the composition containing: a modified diene rubber (A) in which a terminal has been modified with a specific acrylamide compound; and a specific modified compound and a silicon or tin compound, or, a modified diene rubber (B) which is modified with said modified compound. The weight average molecular weight of the entirety of rubber A and B are within a specific range, and the composition further includes a silane coupling agent having a mercapto group. |
