titleOfInvention Magnetic core for transformer
abstract Disclosed is a magnetic core for a transformer. The magnetic core consists of a thick part and a thin part which are closed. The thin part is magnetically saturated before the thick part when excited by the same magnetic fields from small to large. When the thin part is in operation, a first quadrant saturation point or a third quadrant saturation point of the thin part is instantly approached or reached only, and the thin part is operated between the inherent first quadrant saturation point and the inherent third quadrant saturation point of the thin part during the rest of time. Through the present invention, the defects of the conventional magnetic core for a self-excitation push-pull type converter are eliminated, and the efficiency of the self-excitation push-pull type converter is significantly improved when the self-excitation push-pull type converter is under light load; the efficiency is further improved when the self-excitation push-pull type converter is under rated load; the number of turns of coils on a magnetic saturation transformer in the self-excitation push-pull type converter is reduced; and the working frequency of the self-excitation push-pull type converter is improved, and the loss is kept low.
