titleOfInvention Biotin compound, biotin labeling agent, and protein aggregate
abstract The present invention addresses the problem of producing a protein aggregate that has a function and the problem of providing a biotin compound that is effective for the production of the protein aggregate. The present invention provides a biotin compound that is represented by formula (1) as a solution for the above-mentioned problems. (In the formula, n is 1 or 2; X represents O or NH, and in cases where n is 2, the X groups may be the same as or different from each other; R 1 represents a direct bond or an amino acid residue, and in cases where n is 2, the amino acid residues of the R 1 groups may be the same as or different from each other; in cases where n is 1, R 2 represents a direct bond, while in cases where n is 2, amino acid residues of the R 2 groups are amino acid residues, each of which has an amino residue that is obtained by removing one hydrogen atom from the amino group at the end of a side chain and wherein the amino residue is bonded to the carboxylic acid residue of the R 1 group through a peptide bond; R 3 represents a direct bond or an amino acid residue; and the amino acid residue of the R 1 group or the R 3 group is a single amino acid residue or an amino acid residue wherein two or more amino acid residues are bonded together through a peptide bond.)
