abstract The present invention relates to a culture-medium composition for rejuvenating stem cells, and, more specifically, relates to a culture-medium composition for culturing stem cells in order to make stem cells collected from an elderly individual have characteristics similar to those of the stem cells of a young individual, and relates to a method for rejuvenating stem cells wherein stem cells derived from an elderly individual are cultured in the culture-medium composition. The present invention makes it possible for even mesenchymal stem cells collected from elderly patients aged 60 or older to be made into young mesenchymal stem cells having high potency, telomerase activity, high stem-cell marker expression ability and the like, and makes it possible to dramatically improve the efficacy of cell treatment using mesenchymal stem cells.
