abstract Provided are a user information collection method and system. The method includes: acquiring a first original ID of a target user, querying a user ID library according to the first original ID of the target user, acquiring at least one first extended ID of the target user, searching for a corresponding data source according to the first original ID and each of the first extended IDs, and acquiring user information in at least one data source and storing same in an information library. The user information collection method and system in the present invention can collect user information about a target user in a plurality of data sources, improving the collection efficiency of user information.
