abstract | The present invention relates to a biopesticide assisting composition comprising galectin as an active ingredient, a biopesticide composition comprising the galectin and bacillus thuringiensis, a polynucleotide encoding the galectin constituted by sequencing optimized to be suitable for an expression in bacillus thuringiensis, an expression vector comprising the polynucleotide, a transformant in which the expression vector is introduced and which is transformed to express galectin, a biopesticide composition comprising the transformant, and to a pesticide method using the biopesticide composition. The biopesticide composition comprising galectin and bacillus thuringiensis according to the present invention may exhibit significantly improved pesticidal effects than the pesticidal activity of conventional bacillus thuringiensis, thus more effectively preventing damage to plants caused by harmful insects, and therefore, the biopesticide composition of the present invention may be widely used in the development of biopesticides exhibiting improved effects. |
