abstract The present invention relates to a method for producing organic acids by biochemically synthesizing organic acid-CoA using acetyl-CoA as a substrate, and subjecting the organic acid-CoA to a CoA elimination reation by means of a CoA-transferase in the presence of acetic acid, wherein a transformed microorganism having an enzyme gene cluster for the synthesis of organic acid-CoA using acetyl-CoA as a substrate and a CoA-transferase gene is cultivated to obtain an organic acid.
