abstract A bandwidth sharing method, device, and system. The bandwidth sharing method comprises: an optic network unit (ONU) receiving a message frame, the message frame comprising a sharing allocation identifier, information of a shared bandwidth, and a frame count, the sharing allocation identifier indicating that the shared bandwidth is shared by N ONUs, the frame count indicating a specific ONU using the shared bandwidth, and N being an integer greater than 1; determining whether the ONU itself is the specific ONU; and if yes, sending a response frame by using the shared bandwidth. By implementing the embodiments of the present invention, sharing allocation identifiers may be used to allocate the shared bandwidth to multiple ONUs, thereby saving the bandwidth.
