titleOfInvention Implant and implant device
abstract This implant (2) is an apparatus capable of implantation for the treatment of urinary incontinence in women, or in other words, is an apparatus that supports the urethra in a manner so as to pull in the direction away from the vaginal wall. The implant (2) is provided with: a pad (4) that can, by means of the restoring force of the pad itself, revert from the state of having a forced shape, and the shape of the contour in the reverted state forms a sheet; and two threads (5) that are used penetrating the pad (4) and affix the pad (4) in the state of the pad (4) supporting the urethra. Also, the pad (4) forms a mesh. In other words, the pad (4) has a plurality of openings. The threads (5) have at one end an affixing section (51) that affixes to a living body, penetrating the mesh of the pad (4) when affixing the pad (4) to a living body.
