abstract Provided are compositions and methods for prophylaxis and/or therapy of cancer. The method involves administering to an individual in need of prophylaxis and/or therapy of cancer a composition which contains tanned mammalian red blood cells complexed with one or more agent(s) that can be a peptide having any of SEQ ID NO: 1, SEQ ID NO:2, SEQ ID NO:3 or SEQ ID NO:4, or asialoglycophorin, or Thomsen-Friedenreich antigen (TF-Ag). Also provided are compositions which contain tanned red blood cells complexes with the peptides, asialoglycophorin, TF-Ag, or combinations thereof.
